A rewrite of Stella McCartney’s sustainability website to showcase how the fashion brand pushes the boundaries of aesthetics and ethics, making luxurious products fit for the world we live in today. Ooo la la!


Sustainability narratives can often be really technically led, so this was very much a case of leading with emotion and humanity, and turning complex and niche subjects into engaging content. 

A strong focus on the materials that create each and every design, and the innovative steps that Stella is taking to take care of our planet and the people in her supply chain. 

From man-made silk (did you know you can study spider DNA?) to recycled cashmere (it takes four goats to produce enough fibre to make a single cashmere sweater). Forest-friendly viscose (because it’s always great to celebrate trees) to vegetarian leather (hooray animals can live and we can still look cool!). And a bunch more STUFF that you can find here.
